Sacco Chair for Zanotta
Sacco Chair for Zanotta
Sacco Easy Chair in Pink by Gatti, Paolini, Teodoro for Zanotta. Designed in 1968, by architects Piero Gatti, Cesare Paolini, and Franco Teodoro. “Born in a time of revolution and explosive creativity, Sacco was meant to be a rebellious chair, and also a chair for the rebellion” — Paola Antonelli. It was originally presented to Zanotta as a clear bag filled 2/3 with expanded polystyrene balls and later was apart of the 1972 groundbreaking MoMA exhibition “Italy: The New Domestic Landscape”, curated by Emilio Ambasz. Today it is apart of many permanent design collections in institutions around the world.
